Making backups should be an easy process, and SuperDuper! perfectly understands that. SuperDuper! creates perfect clones of your Mac volume so you have a full backup of all your data, including permissions, user profiles and private settings. SuperDuper! is incredibly easy to use: select the drives to copy from and to and start backing up. You can specify what files to transfer into what drive. The interface is well designed and always features explanations for each aciton. You can also schedule your backups so SuperDuper! launches they automatically. If you delve in the advanced options, you'll see you can also choose to save your backup as a disk image. SuperDuper! also features smart backup which will only scan for new elements, instead of having to backup everything all over again. As the developer suggests, SuperDuper! is a good complement to Time Machine: you'll have a bootable backup that you can launch quickly along the Time Machine volume. The only thing SuperDuper! really lacks is being able to save your own custom backup filters. Despite not being able to create custom backup filters, SuperDuper! is a highly intuitive solution to make bootable backups of your files. Highly recommended.
